September 2023 - Present

Software Engineer II,

Microsoft

As a Software Engineer II at Microsoft, I led the 3rd Party Experience Meeting Room project, focused on integrating third-party meeting platforms into Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR).

The project had two main components: first, I helped integrate Direct Guest Join (DGJ) for Google Meet, Zoom, and Cisco WebEx, collaborating closely with engineers from these companies to develop new features, debug issues, and provide MTR support. The second part involved working with Pexip engineers to integrate SIP calls, enabling seamless meetings across Zoom, WebEx, Google Meet, RingCentral, and Amazon Chime within the MTR environment.

My contributions ensured a smooth and consistent user experience across platforms, expanding MTR's interoperability for hybrid work scenarios. This work helped elevate the flexibility and cross-platform collaboration capabilities of Microsoft Teams Rooms.

Software Engineer I,

Microsoft

As a Junior Software Engineer at Microsoft, I contribute to enhancing hybrid collaboration through my work on Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR).

Joining the company during the pandemic, I developed key features that improve the experience for both in-office and remote participants, including stage features to promote visibility and engagement. I was the lead developer for both the MTR home screen and the all-in-one platform for meeting rooms, streamlining the user interface and integrating essential meeting functionalities.

My work helps create a seamless, unified experience that empowers teams to collaborate more effectively, regardless of location. The announcement video for the all-in-one platform is linked below

Founder & Software Engineer,

Gradegrubb

After graduating University of Ottawa, I founded GradeGrubb, a mobile app and website aimed at improving communication between schools and parents in Nigeria.

The app provided real-time updates on student progress, allowing parents to intervene and support their children's learning throughout the semester. It was adopted by three schools, with over 800 users, before being halted during the pandemic due to school shutdowns.

Through this experience, I not only honed my mobile and web development skills but also gained valuable insights into managing diverse stakeholders and addressing a range of feedback and complaints, which helped me relate to and effectively communicate with users, educators, and parents.
